What should I do if I am arrested?

Are the penalties for a drug crime severe?

This will all depend on the seriousness of the charges, how much drugs you had in your possession and your prior record, if any. If this is a first offense for you and you had only a minor amount of drugs in your possession, you may be able to get off with probation and fines. For a more serious charge, you could face jail or prison, harsh fines and other serious consequences.
